Your reading feeds
Add RSS and Atom feeds. That also covers public YouTube channels, Substack, Bluesky, Mastodon and most blogs. Feeds refresh on a schedule, so you don't press refresh.
Planned · betaPRE-LAUNCH · NOT OPEN YET
The same intentional reader, hosted for you.
Sign in with your Ideaflow account.
Add the reading feeds you choose, balance fresh discoveries with things worth returning to, and keep your Save, Read later and review in one place, on any device with a browser. Nothing to download or keep running.
Sign-in is not available yet. When the beta opens it will be a small, invite-only group, and this page will become the app.
PLANNED FOR THE FIRST BETA
This is the plan, not a shipped product. It may change before launch.
Add RSS and Atom feeds. That also covers public YouTube channels, Substack, Bluesky, Mastodon and most blogs. Feeds refresh on a schedule, so you don't press refresh.
Planned · betaThe same balance between fresh discoveries and your saved material, with the reason each post appears and its original link.
Planned · betaSave what deserves another visit, queue things for later, and review what you want to remember, with Up next gathering it in one page.
Planned · betaTWO WAYS TO USE BLOOMSCROLL
Both are the same reader. They differ in who runs it and where your library lives. The hosted column describes the plan for the first beta.
| Hosted (coming soon) | Standalone (available now) | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Nothing to install. Sign in with Ideaflow. | Download a ZIP and run it with Node.js on macOS or Linux. |
| Where your library lives | Stored by Ideaflow, private to your account. Other people in the beta can't see what you follow or save. | On your own computer, in a folder you control. |
| Refreshing feeds | On a schedule, on the server. | When you choose to refresh. |
| X, Instagram and YouTube Watch Later | Not at first. Planned later through a browser extension. | Optional, with your own tools and signed-in browser. |
| Private practice set and recordings | Not offered. | Optional, if you run your own compatible endpoint. |
| Access | A small, invite-only beta first. | Anyone can download it. Technical alpha. |
BEFORE IT OPENS
No. The hosted app isn't built yet, so the button above does nothing. When the first beta opens, invited people will sign in with their Ideaflow account; everyone else will see a waitlist.
Your subscriptions, saves, Read later, reflections and review are private to your account; other people in the beta can't see them. Ideaflow's operators can technically access stored data and backups, which are kept for up to 35 days. A privacy notice will explain this in full before launch.
Yes. Deleting your account is planned for the first beta, and exporting your library is planned soon after.
There is a separate phone beta for notes, saved links, Read later, reflection and practice. It doesn't share a library with hosted or standalone Bloomscroll yet.
